Liners
Years of exposure to over-chlorinated water and the sun UV rays causes the vinyl layer to deteriorate. The lining starts to crack at the water level, and the rips grow in size in some cases, becoming massive tears. The rest of the vinyl also becomes brittle and tears much more easily, thus leaking water.

Features
A very common place for water to leak is in the features of the swimming pool. The lights are prone to water loss in time. Fiberglass steps is another common place that can sometimes leak. Basically, any place on your pool that a liner is cut or a cement wall is bonded to a plastic feature. This is usually the first place we look.

Plumbing
This is a popular one especially in the northern parts of the country. the constantly changing weather and chemicals puts outdoor plumbing through a lot of stress. If you are losing water fast? chances are it’s in the plumbing!
Termites can be a killer!
